Indian cuisine reflects a 5000-year history of various groups and cultures interacting with the subcontinent, leading to diversity of flavors and regional cuisines found in modern-day India. Indian cuisine involves the use of herbs and spices. The skill of using Indian spices comes not only with knowing what spices to use, but how to use them. Spices enhance flavor and add that “zing” to the food. There is a popular misconception that Indian cuisine is ‘Spicy’, whereas in reality, Indian cuisine is spice-full, with the use of spices to enhance taste. Our chefs at ISTA are masters of controlling the blend of spices Iṣṭa(इस्टा) : (Sanskrit संस्कृतम्): desired; beloved; dear; At Ista, it is our endeavor to present to you the flavors of India, in a selection we hope you will enjoy the taste as much as we love preparing them for you.
I also like their naan, which is really fresh and aromatic. I would eat three or four pieces before I stop. One other thing I like is their complimentary chai tea. It is creamy and spicy. What a nice way to wrap up your meal. The service is fine. The waiters are very friendly and attentive - much better than other Asian restaurants.
This is my absolute favorite "go to" Indian place. The food is amazing. I've never had anything there I didn't like. The staff is very attentive and helpful.
Food was very tasty. Buffet had a wide variety to select from. Loads of flavor, not too spicy. Service was fast and friendly
